ECNP Workshop for Early Career Scientists in Europe

The ECNP Workshop aims to stimulate high-quality experimental and clinical research in brain disorders and their treatments by promoting and encouraging the development of Early Career Scientists. 

We are pleased to boast that our PhD student, Ms. Agata Korlatowicz, has received a travel grant to participate in the ECNP workshops in Nice. Wishing you fruitful discussions!!

  We have had an exceptional 5th CEBC congress in Krakow , in which our Laboratory actively participated both on the scientific front:  serving as chairpersons for the plenary lecture, which was delivered by the distinguished clinician-scientist Prof. Gustavo Turecki from McGill University in Montreal, Canada;  dr hab. Agata Faron-Górecka, prof. Gustavo Turecki, prof. Marta Dziedzicka-Wasylewska    serving as chairpersons of Session1: Blood-brain barrier dysfunction in CNS disoders , during which a lecture was given by Prof. Marta Dziedzicka-Wasylewska (IF PAN), dr hab. Agnieszka Chocyk (IF PAN), and dr hab. Barbara Błasiak (IFJ). we presented three posters during the poster session: Dr Joanna Solich, Dr Magdalena Kolasa, and Ms. Agata Korlatowicz.                                          On the organizational side, dr hab. Agata Faron-Górecka and dr Joanna Solich were responsible for abstracts and the folder.  It was a very impressive and enlightening experience!

XXI International Congress of the Polish Pharmacological Society

Dr. Joanna Solich represented our Laboratory at the International Congress of the Polish Pharmacological Society, which took place in Katowice on September 28-30, 2023 ( XXI International Congress of the Polish Pharmacological Society (zjazd-ptf.katowice.pl) ).  She delivered a great lecture on the role of the blood-brain barrier in stress. Congratulations!
